What is a brew spoon?
A brew spoon, is essentially a spoon made from 100% safe, food-grade polypropylene (plastic) and 150 micron 304L stainless steel. Manufactured locally, the BrewSpoon was founded in the Free State and has been internationally recognized for its innovation and overall ease of use. The spoon contains a built-in compartment to store ground coffee. Once the ground coffee has been added, the spoon can be placed directly into a cup, along with boiling water, to allow the coffee to steep, until you have the perfect brew.
What are the pros of a brew spoon?

What is a brew stick?
The Brew It Stick is not very different to the brew spoon. However, its distinct stick shape makes it unique and more simple to use. To use it, one simply has to place coffee grounds in the drip pot which is then covered and ready to infuse! The Brew it stick is not to be confused with a brew stick – used to agitate grounds during the brew process for better tasting coffee or work as a long-form stir stick.

Comparison
The core function of the brew stick and brew spoon are the same in that it is an affordable way to make coffee. The major difference between the two is that the brew stick is manufactured in the UK and the brew spoon is manufactured in South Africa. The brew spoon is also more durable than the brew stick so it will last for much longer than the brew stick.
